Stochastic optimal scheduling of demand response-enabled microgrids with renewable generations: An analytical-heuristic approach

In the context of transition towards cleaner and sustainable energy production, microgrids have become an effective way for tackling environmental pollution crisis issues. With increasing penetration renewables, how to coordinate demand response renewable generations is a critical challenging issue in field microgrid scheduling. To this end, bi-level scheduling model put forward isolated with consideration multi-stakeholders paper, where lower- upper-level models respectively aim minimization user cost operational under real-time electricity pricing environments. order solve model, research combines Jaya algorithm interior point method (IPM) develop hybrid analysis-heuristic solution called Jaya-IPM, upper-levels are addressed by IPM Jaya, scheme obtained via iterations between two levels. After that, prices updated plans determined lower-level will be alternately iterated upper- lower-levels through mechanism obtain optimal plan. The test results show that proposed can uncertainty strategies, thereby achieving balance interests users; leveraging response, flexibility load side fully exploited achieve peak shaving while maintaining supply demand. addition, Jaya-IPM proven superior traditional intelligent (HIA) CPLEX solver terms optimization calculation efficiency. Compared HIA CPLEX, improves MG net revenue 10.9% 11.9%, reduces 6.1% 7.7%; our approach decreases time about 90% 60%.
